What is data communication?
Transfer of information between two points is called data communication, either via an analogue signal or digital signal in form of electrical pulses or optically via light pulses.
Type of data communication systems:
1. Simplex
2. Full Duplex
3. Half Duplex
In simplex system message can be send in one direction only. Example - radio broadcasting and television.
Full duplex system where data can be send in both directions like telephone systems
Full duplex system where data can be send in both directions like telephone systems
In half duplex system each end may transmit the information but only one at one one time.
