AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) is a technology that takes images at a lower resolution and then uses an open-source spatial upscaling algorithm to convert them into a higher resolution one. Nvidia’s version of that technology is DLSS, as the latter uses an AI algorithm and vector support to make the game look as though it is running at a higher resolution. However, the biggest difference between FSR and DLSS is that DLSS only works with Nvidia’s RTX GPUs and FSR can work with any GPU.
