There are rumors that AMD is planning to launch the Radeon RX 5600 series in January 2020 during the CES event, as the custom graphics cards would be the newest members of the Navi family.

So far, the only details that we knew on the cards’ specifications were that the Radeon RX 5600 XT would feature 6 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit bus interface.

Now, a source reports that there would be two different models showing up, namely – the Radeon RX 5600 XT and the Radeon RX 5600 and more interestingly, the cards would come in two different sets of memory – either 6 GB or 8 GB configurations. There is no stated information on the bus interface for the 8 GB GDDR6 memory configuration – for example, it could be a 256-bit or a different one.

The new graphics cards will compete against NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1660 series, as they both have similar specifications. The AMD Radeon RX 5600 series are also stated to be budget-orientated on the market, although there is still no information on the pricing.
