According to the latest reports, the AMD Radeon RX 6600 (Non-XT) would launch in September or October, as the graphics card is expected to be based on the Navi 23 GPU with 1792 stream processors and 32MB Infinity Cache. The card is also expected to feature an 8GB and a 4GB GDDR6 memory capacity, both using GDDR6 memory clocked at 16Gbps, a 128-bit memory bus and the total bandwidth to 256 GB/s. It is also rumored that the graphics card will feature 27 MH/s in the Ethereum mining. The Radeon RX 6600 could have pricing of around $299 US but nothing is confirmed yet.
The other variant of the AMD Radeon RX 6600 series, namely the RX 6600 XT will feature the Navi 23 ‘Dimgrey Cavefish’ XT/XTX SKU, compared to the Navi 23 XL SKU that the Non-XT version will feature. The Radeon RX 6600 XT is also an affordable card with reasonable specs, focused on delivering great performance while playing games at 1080p, as the card supports all the key features of the Radeon 6000 series. The starting price of the graphics card is $379 US.
As per the above said, the new Radeon RX 6600 would offer the same performance as Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3060 and relatively low power consumption. Still, additional information on this budget GPU will be revealed with its upcoming release.
