AMD recently announced to the market their new Ryzen 5000 series processors with Zen architecture, although these X versions chips came with slightly higher prices over their predecessors Rуzеn 3000.

According to a rumor posted by @harukaze5719, AMD is planning to launch a new Ryzen 5 5600 processor in early 2021 for $220, as the new processor will be a non-X version of the confirmed Ryzen 5 5600X processor. Also according to the rumor, the Ryzen 5 5600 is expected to be a 6-core and 12-thread processor.

The same rumor states that the Ryzen 5 5600X is allegedly similar or a bit faster than the Intel Core i7-10700 (non-K), therefore the non-X model, the $220 Ryzen 5 5600 could compete with the Core i5-10600 series.

Additionally, the price for the Ryzen 5600 is expected to be $220, which is $80 less than the already announced Ryzen 5 5600X and is only $20 more than the current price of the Ryzen 5 3600. Quite often the non-X version series have been a very popular choice among gamers, because they provide almost the same performance in games.

On the other hand, Intel may also offer many attractive prices for its 11th Gen Core desktop CPUs of Rосkеt Lаkе-Ѕ family. For sure, gamers can gain the most from the strong competition between AMD and Intel.
