According to the latest rumor, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is expected to launch on May 26, 2021, although there is still no official information about the release date from Nvidia.

With regard to the leaks of the initial specs, they are showing that the new RTX 3080 Ti is going to be an impressive and powerful graphics card for its price, most likely taking place right between the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 cards already on the market.

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is expected to come with the Ampere-based GA102-225 GPU and will feature 10,240 CUDA cores in comparison to the RTX 3080’s 8,704 cores. Having said that, the RTX 3080 Ti will be placed closer in performance to the RTX 3090. It is also rumored that the new graphics card will have 12GB of GDDR6X memory (in comparison to the RTX 3080’s 10GB) controlled via a 384-bit memory interface. The GPU is expected to have a base clock speed of 1365Hz and a boost speed of 1665MHz and the memory will be running at 1188 MHz (19 Gbps effective).

The retail price of the RTX 3080 Ti is rumored to be $999, which makes it such a good offer for a great high-end graphics card, given the fact that it will be more capable than the RTX 3080, but not so overpowered as the RTX 3090 is.
