There is nothing more disappointing and frustrating after spending months or even years, waiting for your favorite game to come out and all that excitement is crushed when you discover that it’s got so many bugs that sometimes makes it completely unplayable. We understand that problems often occur on launch day, still, games are not cheap and it is not ok to accept that if a product is released with missing or not working features, it can easily be fixed with a massive patch later. Some games manage to recover from their worst performance at launch and go on, others fail to do that. Here are the top 5 buggiest games that we’ve ever played.

  1. Cyberpunk 2077

The highly-anticipated and most hyped game in 2020 turned out to have so many bugs and crashes that the Polish game developer CD Projekt had to promise to refund those who bought the game and are not satisfied with it. Reduced image quality, character faces looking unrecognizable, cars appearing or falling unexpectedly and poor optimization of the game are just a few examples of the game’s bugs.

  1. WWE 2K20

WWE 2K20 has so many problems with glitches and bugs, therefore it is no wonder that Sony is offering refunds on the game and it’s also no surprise that WWE 2K21 has been cancelled. NSFW animation bugs, never-ending loading screens, demonic character models with missing skin are just a few examples of the game’s glitches and bugs.

  1. Assassin’s Creed: Unity

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is riddled with bugs: character’s faces often don’t load which leads to some grotesque and terrifying imagery, frame rates are terrible, lagging, crashing and overall poor performance and these are just some of the problems of the game.

  1. Battlefield 4

Оne of the biggest advantages of the game, its multiplayer mode turned out to be a real mess. Battlefield 4 players have many issues with bugs, namely becoming invisible, random crashes and freezes, founding ways to get under the map, disconnection errors, etc. Not only that these game-breaking issues were not fixed and remained long after the release of the game, but more bugs appeared in time.

  1. Fallout 76

Fallout 76’s problems with bugs and glitches were many – missing push-to-talk and text chat features, crashing, lagging, some quests could not be completed, inexplicable disappearance or reappearance of power armor pieces, etc., which made the game almost impossible to be played.
