There are a lot of fantastic new games coming out in 2021 and beyond on PC. Below you’ll find the top 5 upcoming PC games in 2021 that excite us the most and are worth waiting for:
Agent 47 makes a return and will face his most important assassination mission in what is set to be the dramatic conclusion to the World of the Assassination trilogy. As you may expect, there will be possibilities to use your environment in order to finish the job. It was also revealed that the game will start in Dubai. Hitman 3 seems to have surpassed our expectations and we look forward to playing it.
The story of Far Cry 6 is taking place in Yara which is a fictional paradise that is frozen in time. In the adrenaline-filled game you play the character of a local Yaran called Dani Rojas, who is a guerrilla fighter and a revolutionary, attempting to take down the despotic regime of Anton Castillo, played by the Hollywood star Giancarlo Esposito. Castillo is the leader of Yara and a harsh dictator who wants to restore the country to its former glory and he is willing to do it at any price. The motto of the upcoming Far Cry 6 is “Paradise has a price”.
Resident Evil Village is a continuation of Resident Evil 7 and will take place a few years after the events of the latter game. Ethan Winters finds himself in a new kind of trouble in a mysterious village. Chris Redfield returns to the game but we still don’t know what will be his role in this story. The trailers of the game leave us with a sense of complete horror and with a lot of questions.
Halo Infinite is the official title for Halo 6 and is the next chapter in Master Chief’s adventures which continues from the story of Halo 5: Guardians. It was revealed that this Halo game will have a more open world than the past games. The new game looks pretty good due to the all-new graphics engine and it promises the players to have a better told story and an unexpected direction.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines was released back in 2004 as an action RPG and the story was taking place in Los Angeles. The sequel – Bloodlines 2 is taking us to Seattle where the choices you make define how you progress through the game. You also have to fight up through the ranks in order to be as powerful Vampire as possible. It’s a good thing that there will be different directions that you can take in order to complete the game.
- Bonus game: Diablo 4
Diablo 4 was officially confirmed by Blizzard in 2019 that it was in development and that it will be an isometric action role-playing game (RPG). Blizzard already revealed three classes for Diablo 4: Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid. You can also expect the return of Lilith, as the latter will be the main enemy that you will have to face against in the game. What is interesting about the new Diablo 4 is that players will have the ability to play together in an online shared world which means that while you progress through the game, you will come across other players participating in world events. For now, there’s no official information that Diablo 4 would be released in 2021, so we’ll have to wait and keep an eye out for any news and updates from Blizzard about it.
In short, make sure to add these upcoming games to your wishlist, as well as to keep an eye on their expected release dates.
